One of my beloved collectors is a ballerina and adopted a ballerina bear to take with her to Paris.  I was thrilled at the idea that another one of my creations would be traveling to a place that I have only dreamed of traveling to.  My beautiful collector and I also have a deep, emotional connection to the art of ballet, both having taken up dance as adults, working up to pointe and performing on stage.  It is amazing how much we have in common.

One lazy Saturday afternoon, my husband brings in the mail and hands a package to me.  It was not an expected delivery and I was very curious as to where it was from and from whom.  To my tearful joy...the beautiful ballerina created a BOOK based on the travels 'Sweet Esther Ballerina' and her companion 'Apricot' experienced in Paris.

These are but a few of the images of this thoughtful and cherished gift.  I sobbed like a baby while turning each page.  Not only because of the extreme kindness offered but just the mere fact that part of me, in even a detached way, fulfilled a little dream of visiting Paris.
