Sabine Spellbinder a Diva Witchy Bear

'Sabine Spellbinder' is a 14" teary eyed mohair La De Da' Artisan Diva Witch Bear. Sabine views the world through shiny black premium glass eyes with hand sculpted clay eyelids (upper and lower) accented with sculpted wet tear accents for a dimensional and soulful gaze. They are filled with tears on the lower part of the eye giving a lifelike, forlorn expression. The clay is sculpted around the glass eye and into the mohair before the tear medium is added to build dimension custom to the head shape and eye contour. Her nose has also been hand sculpted and stained in multiple colors for a leather-like effect. Her mouth is embroidered and treated to shine ever so slightly. Her long legs are needle sculpted with a bent knee. She has pointed toes like a ballerina. Her long arms hang gracefully and tight to her sides. She is created in a hand dyed pewter gray feathery soft, wavy German mohair, tinted in gray, antique clay and blush. Center seam head design. Her face has been needle sculpted to create a slightly upturned nose featuring a cute profile. She is stuffed with poly, copper shot (belly) and the highest quality lavender buds, imported from Provence, France. Lavender is a La De Da' signature element added to all of my bears to enhance the "hug" experience with a gentle, therapeutic natural scent. Squeezing the buds helps release the scent, so you get a little bit of relaxation with every hug. Her ears are chubby and stuffed for a round full look. Her arms, legs and head are disk jointed. She wears a hand made, silver tulle, black lace and faded hand dyed orange vintage ribbon skirt. I also designed and hand crafted a black leather witches cap embellished with a jeweled spider, blingy gray beads around the base and a black tulle bow in the back for a bit of la de da' flair. She can not stand on her own but can propped or used in a doll stand. The leather witch hat can be removed by taking out the large hat pin which secures it in the back so Sabine can transition to other seasons other than Harvest/Halloween. All of my designs are one of kind, no two bears are alike. From my heart to your hand....I hope the La De Da' Artisan Bears bring you a smile.
