'Prayer of Peace'

'Prayer of Peace'

'Prayer of Peace' is a 7" (17.7 centimeters) teary eyed, clay sculpted detail, hand sewn Light of Faith . La De Da' Artisan Bear. He is the first in this new series of bears. FACIAL FEATURES 'Prayer of Peace' views the world through shiny black premium glass eyes with hand sculpted clay eyelids, accented with the La De Da' signature wet tear accents for a dimensional and soulful gaze. The lower eyelids are filled with a tear medium giving a wet, lifelike, forlorn expression. The nose has also been hand sculpted, stained and glossed for natural effect. The mouth is embroidered and treated to shimmer slightly. BODY He is five way jointed and is created in a long coffee and white mohair. He was sewn entirely by hand, (no machine sewing) and is stuffed with poly, and copper shot and the highest quality lavender buds in the belly. The lavender is imported from Provence, France. Lavender is a La De Da' signature element added to all of my bears to enhance the "hug" experience with a gentle, therapeutic natural scent. Squeezing the buds helps release the scent, so you get a little bit of relaxation with every hug. In addition, non-culinary Lavender is a natural repellent helping preserve and protect your La De Da' Artisan Bear for many years. ACCESSORIES 'Prayer of Peace' wears a tattered scarf of inspiration from the Saint Francis hymn which reads "Make Me a Channel of Your Peace" and the name of Saint Francis of Assisi. It is embellished with an amber button and faux leaves for a bit of la de da' flair. He also has two birds which are held on by a pin and a wire and are removable, re-posable. All of my designs are one of kind, no two bears are alike. From my heart to your hand....I hope the La De Da' Artisan Bears bring you a smile. Make me a channel of your peace: Where there is hatred, let me bring your love, Where there is injury, your pardon, Lord, And where there's doubt true faith in you. Make me a channel of your peace: Where there's despair in life, let me bring hope, Where there is darkness, only light, And where there's sadness, ever joy. O Master, grant that I may never seek So much to be consoled as to console; To be understood as to understand, To be loved, as to love with all my soul! Make me a channel of your peace: It is in pardoning that we are pardoned, In giving of ourselves that we receive, And in dying that we are born to eternal life.
