'Chesmu Wind Walker'

'Chesmu Wind Walker'

'Chesmu Wind Walker' is an 8" inch, 6" seated, hand sewn and painted La De Da' Artisan Bear. He is the second of this brand new pattern, more realistic in shape than my other designs. His Native American theme was inspired by my Cherokee and Apache heritage and the many beautiful dancers I have enjoyed and photographed at the Pow Wow's we attend here in California. FACIAL FEATURES 'Chesmu (meaning 'Witty')Wind Walker' views the world through shiny black premium glass eyes with hand sculpted clay eyelids, accented with the La De Da' signature wet tear accents for a dimensional and soulful gaze. The lower eyelids are filled with a tear medium giving a wet, lifelike, forlorn expression. The nose has also been hand sculpted, stained and 'wet' for natural effect. The mouth is embroidered and treated to shimmer. BODY He is five way jointed and is created in a feathery soft Helmbold viscose. The entire body is meticulously painted and heat set in a textile watercolor, leaving the hand of the viscose very soft and the colors dappled creating more texture and contrast. He was sewn entirely by hand and stuffed with poly, steel shot for weight and the highest quality lavender buds in the belly. He is a semi realistic pattern design. His paw pads are a beautiful, high quality felt, also hand painted and heat set. The lavender is imported from Provence, France. Lavender is a La De Da' signature element added to all of my bears to enhance the "hug" experience with a gentle, therapeutic natural scent. Squeezing the buds helps release the scent, so you get a little bit of relaxation with every hug. In addition, non-culinary Lavender is a natural repellent to moths, insects and other critters, like mice, helping preserve and protect your La De Da' bear for many years. ACCESSORIES He wears his traditional Native American Pow Wow Regalia: a genuine turquoise and sterling silver choker, a handmade medicine bag made of kid leather embellished with more genuine turquoise and a feathered bustle made from the same leather and turquoise with real feathers for a bit of Native American, la de da' flair. He cannot stand on his own but can propped. All of my designs are one of kind, no two bears are alike. From my heart to your hand....I hope the La De Da' Artisan Bears bring you a smile.
