'Kachine Grassdancer' is a tiny 4.25" La De Da' Bear. Kachine (Sacred Dancer) is created in a matted, sparse, cream and hand dyed, pale turquoise colored mohair. She has been treated and hand tinted/painted in multiple shades of grey, chocolate brown and blush pigments then blended ...for a watercolor effect around the eyes/cheek area and for an aged, vintage appeal throughout the body. She is very well loved, plucked, weathered and worn to look like a bear from yester-year. Hand sewn, center seam head design. She is stuffed with poly, natural crushed minerals (belly) and...... NEW TO THE LA DE DA' BEARS - lavender buds, imported from Provence, France. I am adding lavender to all of my bears for a distinct signature element and to enhance the "hug" experience with a gentle, therapeutic natural scent. It is in the torso, arms and legs. Squeezing the buds helps release the scent....it is very mild and when mixed with the minerals, adds a nice feel to the belly area. She also sports a "worn off by love" looking embroidered nose and painted mouth and eye detail. Her arms and legs are thread jointed and her head is wobble jointed for movement making her nod more for a shy, "pick me up" appeal. She wears a feather regalia style tiny headdress on her head with a genuine turquoise nugget bead in the center and the same feathers as a choker around her neck for a bit of la de da' flair. She can not stand on her own but can be propped. All of my designs are one of kind, no two bears are alike. From my heart to your hand....I hope the La De Da' Bears bring you a smile.
